Hot Cocoa Coconut Style
If you like it hot, I wholeheartedly recommend this hot cocoa coconut style drink for you. Use best in cold weather!

- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- 1 Tbsp. virgin coconut oil
- 1 Tbsp. raw organic cocoa powder
- Pinch Himalayan salt
- ¼ tsp. coconut or organic cane sugar
- 1 cup whole raw milk
- Honey or other healthy sweetener to taste
Place small saucepan on low heat and add coconut oil to the pan. As it melts, whisk in the cocoa powder and add the salt and the sugar and continue whisking.
Gradually pour in the milk as you continue to whisk to incorporate it with the other ingredients. Bring to desired temperature for drinking, and pour into a mug. Sweeten additionally if needed. (Depending on your sweet tooth you may not need any additional sweetener.)
Tip: By keeping this recipe on the warm side instead of letting it get so hot as to boil, you retain the highest levels of nutrition in the ingredients. One easy way to do this is to use a double boiler, which heats the ingredients over a pot of hot water instead of directly on the burner.
